CHUCKLE FOR CHARITIES

WHEN IS CHUCKLE FOR CHARITIES? Chuckle for Charities is always held the first Saturday of March.

WHAT IS CHUCKLE FOR CHARITIES? Chuckle for Charities is the primary fundraising for G.A.R.F. The evening consists of a social hour, sit down dinner, 50/50 raffles, a silent auction and a comedy act entertainment. Each ticket admits two people. G.A.R.F. benefits from the proceeds of the ticket sales, raffles, and silent auction.

G.A.R.F. SEEKS SPONSORSHIPS

The Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation is a local non-profit organization that provides free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Campbell County. During our 2004 fiscal year, G.A.R.F. provided advocacy services to 913 victims and provided shelter to 103 adults and 98 children.

In order for G.A.R.F. to continue providing quality services to victims, we find it necessary to supplement our funding through community fundraising. We are very proud of our fundraiser, "Chuckle for Charities". Our fundraising not only provides the much needed funding for our own agency, but through the monetary awards received by the performing comedy acts, G.A.R.F. has also contributed to other locale agencies since 1997.

Due to the increased cost of organizing this event and the limited number of tickets we are able to sell, we are seeking local companies to sponsor our event by helping to cover the production expenses for the upcoming year's fundraiser. Chuckle for Charities is scheduled to be held in March of every year.

Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation (G.A.R.F.) is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) with the Internal Revenue Service. Donations made to G.A.R.F. are tax-exempt. Your company will receive recognition throughout Campbell County and the State of Wyoming as a "Chuckle for Charities Event Sponsor." This will occur through advertising for the event. As an event sponsor, your company will receive recognition of your contribution throughout the evening of the event. Your company will receive complimentary tickets for the event. The number of complimentary tickets correlates to the level of sponsorship.
